Prof. Ts. Dr. Wong Ling Shing graduated from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2011 with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science. He is a passionate researcher with diverse interests, including biosensors, bioindicators, culturing photosynthetic microbes, and agricultural biomass. His extended his research initiatives into nanotechnology, health sciences, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy as well. Wong has spearheaded over 25 research projects and published more than 250 scientific articles. He won numerous awards, including medals at internationally recognized innovation competitions such as Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) and International Technology Expo (ITEX). INTI International University recognized his contribution to the university with the Vice Chancellor Award and The Most Promising Young Researcher in 2016. Wong is currently the president of Einstein Research Academy, the Editor-in-Chief of INTI Journal, and a member of several professional bodies. He is also a certified Technologist (Ts.) by Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). He is a strong advocate of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) via multidisciplinary research, and now he is leading INTI International University as Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation.
